Beverly Hills is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in all of Los Angeles. It is home to many celebrities and movie execs but it was originally a Spanish ranch that grew lima beans. In 1914, investors who had failed to find oil decided to develop the area into a town. It now has one of the most famous zip codes in the United States, “90210” and one of the most well-known shopping streets with designer brands, Rodeo Drive.
Within the 90210 zip code is an area called Beverly Hills Post Office. This area is assigned to the Beverly Hills Post Office but it is actually a part of Los Angeles County and homes are not part of the city of Beverly Hills.
